MD Rennaissance Festival
Well, I made my yearly pilgramige to the MD Renn Fest yesterday. Said HI to folks I only see once a year (if that). It was interesting going back with new weight/new hair and seeing who recognized me and who didn't. Very surprising. A. the P. knew who I was right away, despite having only had an hour-long conversation with me over the past seven years. D.E., my former boss, had no clue who I was. He eventually figured it out, but it took a couple of minutes. Same with V.C., who I know from the Ontario Renn Fest. He thought I was someone he knew, but he wasn't too sure. D.P. knew me right away. We got lunch together and had a chance to catch up. C. of the P. also knew who I was--or else he was better at hiding his confusion/uncertainity. Anyway, here are some pics. Nothing too good--the light was weird (at least that's my story).
Performance at the Globe Theatre.
Disturbing.

Wish I coulda been there.
See the pics of the Pirate Festival on my blog?
Can't play the videos on this steam powered 486.
Regards.

You guys should really get a booth at the MD Fest--I imagine you'd sell out in just a few hours...
I did see the pics of the Pirate Festival on your blog--looked like fun. I imagine that is why Canada stays so cool (flying s. monster + pirates = end of global warming).

Heh, I had a feeling I should've went there on Sunday. My parents and brothers went, but I was doing the Ramadan thing and didn't think there'd be much to do with no eating. So stayed home and did homework. :-(
I'm happy you had a good time.
Lugman, yeah, seems like the main activities at the Renn fest are eating, drinking, shopping, drinking, and watching shows. Oh, and drinking and eating.
