I am a goddess!
I ran three miles this morning. How excellent is that? Now all I need to do is be able to do it consistantly and I should reach my goal of running a 5K by the end of summer.

Would you prefer for folks to have known you could do it, or to get an impressed reaction?
Me, I stick to going up the stairs at work. :)
I am impressed, though. Keep up the good running!
I was just really proud of myself and wanted to share with my buddies.

Good for you! I won't say a word about knee and back problems . . . ;-)

Very impressed. Better than I can do!
Well, I'm no where near as fit as I was at my peak of fitness (when I had a very nicely toned tummy!), but I am def. emjoying it more.
Unfortunately, I've not been able to replicate my three mile acheivement. I had to take some time off for work and school, and now I can barely huff my way through a mile and a half. Uck. But I will get back up to three miles--I have to; I plan on running a 5K at the end of summer.
Not that any one really cares about all this, but if I have a heart attack and die in the heat, at least you'll know why!

Gah! The three-miler status ain't worth All That! ;)
Congrats on taking strides, though. (And yes, I kill myself with the puns....)
