You're in the Army Now...

Ha! This is a picture of me demonstrating how I would use the oboe to defend myself. This was back at the USAESOM (US Army Element School of Music... or, as we called it, the US School of Matrimony, as it seemed that everyone got married to everyone else... and then got divorced a few years later.)

You know, I have distinct memories of cleaning that floor--and that particular section of the floor. It was one of the first times I met my ex. Ah, the fond memories...

I was fishing for memories by googling usaesom. I may have cleaned that excact floor in the spring of 1990 between remedial ear training, threory, mandatory practice, and PT. Thanks for the memories(or flashbacks). Glad to see the Army is still sending its canines and equestians in training through the old meatgrinder.
